We utilize letter agreements to clearly define mutual expectations and accountabilities. We work on a retainer system, and will not exceed budgeted hours without prior approval by the attorney.
LASH & Associates work diligently to provide quality work products and services. We stand by our work and offer a risk-free guarantee. In the unlikely event that a work product does not meet the attorney's satisfaction, LASH & Associates will rework the ORIGINAL assignment (within a reasonable number of hours) at no additional charge to the attorney.

LASH & Associates Medical Legal Consulting, LLC provides independent legal nurse consulting services on a case by case basis for any type of case or potential case involving medical or nursing issues. Our experienced registered nurses have achieved master's degrees in nursing; and our combined professional nursing experience exceeds seventy-five years in healthcare, encompassing multiple types of healthcare settings and a wide range of medical conditions.
Christine, a certified legal nurse consultant, founded the company based on a passionate interest in legal aspects of medicine and nursing. Her background includes 12 years of direct patient care as a staff nurse, 5 years management experience as a nursing supervisor and nursing clinical director, 8 years information systems project manager experience, 4 years as a hospital case manager, 4 years nursing educator experience at the university level focused on medical surgical nursing and legal ethical aspects. Christine has 6 years utilization management experience: in this role Christine used her nursing knowledge and experience and knowledge of medical conditions, and reviewed hospital electronic medical records for severity of illness and adherence to appropriate treatment guidelines.
Christine's extensive successful professional nursing experience in a variety of roles and settings enables her to assist both plaintiff and defense attorneys with any type of medical related case. Her associate nurses' backgrounds enable LASH & Associates to work on cases with a variety of medical conditions, nursing and healthcare issues. Christine has provided independent consulting services to plaintiff attorney firms and has served in the capacity of risk manager for a small community hospital, assisting the defense attorney with case investigation and preparation.
LASH & Associates do not provide legal opinions. We do assist attorneys by providing cost-effective analysis of the medical and nursing aspects for their cases. We save attorneys money and the time and challenge of reviewing medical records, especially complex electronic medical records.
